This is work that is currently in progress! I hope you enjoy getting a peek behind the curtain at some of the efforts I am currently supporting as a designer at IBM.

As IBM Product Management undergoes a similar transformation as IBM Design did in 2013, there have been a lot of opportunities to level up much of the existing training/education materials, communications, and more. Through the storm, I have been able to help support this transformation through a variety of assets and strategy work.

One of my favorite more-recent projects in this space has been the PM Academy Workbook. For the first time in a while I got a chance to see my work make it off the screen and into the hands of actual IBMers. It was a quick build and turnaround time but I believe I did a great job at making the information easy to find and consume.

Between my background as an architecture student and IBM's moniker "Big Blue" I wanted to lean heavily into our core blue color family for this line of work and technical diagramming and documentation you might find in instruction manuals and tool kits. This, coupled with some expressive use of IBM Plex Mono has allowed for the line of work to really develop a personality as it has been created.

As this is all work in progress, there's no telling exactly where it'll lead. However, I can say with confidence I am excited about the general direction we are pushing things. As 2024 chugs along you can expect to find more updates on what I've been up to here—I'll be sure to call them out!
