Typography 1 was one of my first experiences leaving the architecture studio for a new experience within the Communication Design department at WashU. During the second semester of my Junior year I learned the basics around typography and documented my process and research along the way. Here, you'll find some of my explorations in poster design, typesetting for editorial projects, and my research booklet which contained some of my inspiration and process throughout the semester. At the end of this semester I also created a zine using an excerpt from Borderlands/La Frontera: The New Mestiza by Gloria Anzaldúa.
