While on my gap year in 2015-16 I had the privilege of going to Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore with one of my best friends and his family for Christmas and New Year's. Of all my work, these are some of my favorite photographs. Something about them feels cinematic, playful, and vibrant. I was really into cinematography, but didn't have the most strong video chops at the time, so I went into shooting and editing trying to capture a look that often felt like a film still. Best of both worlds!
